Holiday Party and Last Day at School

We attended church at UPC yesterday and it was our official last Sunday to worship there. The tradition at UPC when you move away from San Antonio it to be given a repilica of the cross that hangs in the sanctuary. This is a treasured gift which was hand carved by a memeber of the church.

Kipper and I leave there very sadly. Kipper was baptized there at about 4 months old...he actually attended before he was conceived. Amazing. The members raised our girls and called them by name, as promised at their baptisms.

As we move forward in our faith journey, we will take all we have learned and loved about UPC with us and we will have stregnth knowing that this community with lift us in prayer always.

Blessings, do not forget to count them....we all have many.

Ok friends, if you are out there and reading this, say a big prayer.

Just found out the movers will begin packing next TUESDAY! YES, TUESDAY! We will live out of a suitcase for over a week.

They assure me they will do non-essentials first and pack the "hold-outs" the day they load....well that only means my dirty sheets and Santa's gifts! UGH!! HELP!!! I may just go crazy after all.

We load the moving truck the 26 and 27th and drive away the 28th. The furniture will arrive in Tulsa on December 31st. So we will officially ring in the new year our first night there.....now that is kind of cool to me.....what a great way to start this adventure.

So, if you need a friend for dinner, give me a call because I know a family who will be without a kitchen!!!!
