Hump day

I am sitting at my computer (obviously) and looking at the sunny day and WIND whipping through the trees. I am also listening to the hum of a vacuum, and I am not pushing it! Found a cleaning service!!! Two Story and 4 baths, not going to do that alone! Twice a month makes me from going crazy!!!

I watched a noon news report that said Tulsa is expecting 3-7 inches of snow tomorrow mid-morning to afternoon. Hard to believe now since it is sunny and about 48 degrees. Girls are so excited at the prospect of seeing real snow where they live!! Funny, when were vacationed in New Mexico, it was cool and all but it was about the skiing....now it is WHERE THEY LIVE!!

As so me, I am less excited I must say because it will be a mess to get out into it if necessary. AND, Kipper has to fly to Dallas tomorrow early morning and I worry he will not be able to get home in the evening! Oh, the pleasure of seasons, how do the folks in Minnesota and North Dakota do it!

I am still working out daily and with a trainer twice a week. We call him "SVEN" but he is no Swedish god like the name may imply. He is a former military guy that is at least 6-8 inches shorter than me and his shoulder are so very broad. Scott is his real name and he is VERY funny. He is kicking my butt! (but it needs to be kicked) Hopefully when I head home to go to the beach and river I might even wear a swim suit without a skirt!!!!! NOT!

As for other activities, I have visited and will continue with a Bible Study at a Presbyterian Church here. It is a great Women's study and I really like the curriculum and the leader, very REAL women. It is on Monday Morning...great way to start the week! Thanks to Clara for helping me find my way there!

We tried a church Sunday and will try another this weekend. Thanks to Margaret's helping me find the inside scoop, we have more direction now!

I have met a FEW Mom's from the school, working on that one. Went to a new Mom dinner last night and met a few more. That is a toughie. PTA will be next week so I will try that and I begin Volunteering at school tomorrow so I am hoping to meet more that way. Rules are different, can't work in my girls class so I am working around all that.

Kipper seems to be settling into more of a routine and getting his job under control. I know he faces new challenges but he seems to be adjusting...at least he says he is! He is traveling a bit each week but not more than an overnight here and there so far.

We are very excited to have had visitors plan their Spring Break Trips....looking for new things to do while everyone visits!

Ok then, I guess that is all till I have snow day photos. Hug your kids from my kids and yourself from me or Kipper!!

Lots of Love!!!
